7: Remove Screen

The screen is now free from all connections. However, the screen is held in place by glue. The glue is on the top and bottom of the screen and it holds the screen to the plastic bezel. Because of this glue, it can be difficult to remove the screen.

We advise that you not put any pressure on the bezel, for it is thin and can bend (and break) easily. Generally, you can use your leverage on the screen itself to help remove it.

Push the screen away from the bezel to help remove the screen from the grasp of the glue. You can use a razor to help free the screen as well. Once you have done this, the screen is free.
